College Athlete Map Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
Â
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the College Athlete Map website, products, reports, and services.
Â
College Athlete Map ("College Athlete Map," "CAM," "we," "us," or "our") is operated as a sole proprietorship in West Virginia.
Â
By accessing our website, submitting an order, purchasing a service, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase or use our services.
Â

Â

Â
2. Eligibility and Minors
Â
CAM services may be purchased by adults who are legally capable of entering into an agreement.
Â
When services are being purchased for an athlete under 18 years of age, the purchase must be completed or authorized by the athlete's parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for agreeing to these Terms on behalf of the minor athlete.
Â
By purchasing services for a minor, you represent that you are authorized to provide the athlete's information to CAM and to authorize CAM to use that information as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Â
3. Athlete and Customer Information
Â
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information.
Â
Information submitted to CAM may include, without limitation:
Â
-
Athlete name and contact information
-
City and state
-
High school, college, team, or organization
-
Graduation year
-
Primary and secondary positions
-
Height and weight
-
Academic information, including GPA and intended major
-
Athletic statistics, measurements, metrics, awards, and accomplishments
-
Recruiting preferences
-
Recruiting profiles
-
Social media profiles
-
Photos
-
Videos and video links
-
Other information voluntarily submitted through our forms or communications
Â
The quality and accuracy of CAM's recommendations depend in part on the information provided by the customer.
Â
4. Incorrect Customer Information and Updated Reports
Â
If a customer discovers that athlete information submitted during the ordering process was incorrect, CAM will provide one updated report at no additional charge after receiving the corrected information.
Â
This applies to reasonable corrections to information such as GPA, position, intended major, measurements, recruiting preferences, or similar information used to create the report.
Â
Substantial changes to an athlete's circumstances or preferences after the original order may be treated as a new service rather than a correction.
Â
5. CAM Match Score and Recommendations
Â
The CAM Match Score is a proprietary evaluative tool intended to help athletes and families compare potential college fits based on information, preferences, and criteria available to CAM.
Â
A CAM Match Score is:
Â
-
A personalized recommendation
-
Not an official college rating
-
Not an objective or universal ranking of a college
-
Not affiliated with or endorsed by any college, athletic conference, governing body, or recruiting organization
-
Not a prediction or guarantee of recruitment, admission, scholarship availability, roster placement, or playing time
Â
Two athletes may receive different evaluations of the same college because their circumstances, preferences, academic profiles, athletic profiles, and recruiting priorities may differ.
Â
6. No Recruiting, Admission, or Scholarship Guarantee
Â
CAM provides recruiting information, recommendations, and resources. We do not control decisions made by colleges, coaches, admissions offices, athletic departments, scholarship committees, or governing organizations.
Â
CAM does not guarantee:
Â
-
Recruitment by any college or university
-
Communication or responses from college coaches
-
Admission to any college or university
-
Athletic or academic scholarships
-
Financial aid
-
Roster placement
-
Playing time
-
Tryout opportunities
-
Offers or commitments
-
Continued operation of a particular athletic program
-
Any specific recruiting outcome
Â
Purchasing a CAM service does not guarantee or represent that an athlete's likelihood of being recruited, admitted, offered a scholarship, or placed on a roster will increase.
Â
7. Recruiting and Athletic Eligibility
Â
Customers and athletes are solely responsible for understanding and complying with applicable recruiting, eligibility, amateurism, admissions, transfer, and participation requirements.
Â
These may include rules established by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, athletic conferences, individual colleges, high school associations, and other governing organizations.
Â
CAM does not determine, certify, or guarantee an athlete's eligibility.
Â
Nothing provided by CAM constitutes legal, eligibility, compliance, or regulatory advice.
Â
8. College, Academic, and Financial Information
Â
CAM makes reasonable efforts to use accurate and relevant information when preparing reports.
Â
However, information concerning colleges and athletic programs can change at any time. This includes:
Â
-
Tuition and fees
-
Financial aid
-
Scholarship availability
-
Academic programs and majors
-
Admissions requirements
-
Enrollment
-
Coaching staffs
-
Team rosters
-
Recruiting needs
-
Athletic divisions or affiliations
-
Program availability
-
Facilities
-
Team performance
-
Other institutional information
Â
CAM does not provide financial advice and does not guarantee tuition, scholarship, financial aid, or other cost information.
Â
CAM also does not make admissions decisions or guarantee that an athlete satisfies a college's academic requirements.
Â
Customers should independently verify important academic, financial, admissions, athletic, and recruiting information directly with the applicable institution before making enrollment, financial, or recruiting decisions.
Â
9. Changes After Report Delivery
Â
CAM is not responsible for changes occurring after a report has been completed or delivered.
Â
For example, a college may subsequently change its coaching staff, recruiting needs, tuition, admissions standards, academic offerings, athletic affiliation, roster composition, scholarship availability, or athletic program status.
Â
A report represents CAM's recommendations and available information at or around the time the report is prepared.
Â
10. Coach Contact Information
Â
Coach names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other recruiting contact information included in CAM materials are obtained from publicly available sources.
Â
CAM makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but cannot guarantee that contact information will remain accurate or current.
Customers should verify important contact information through the college or athletic program when necessary.
Â
11. Coach Outreach
Â
Certain CAM packages may include Coach Outreach.
Â
When a customer purchases a service that includes Coach Outreach, the customer authorizes CAM to contact selected college coaches, athletic programs, or their representatives on the athlete's behalf and to share information reasonably necessary to promote the athlete for recruiting purposes.
Â
This information may include:
Â
-
Athlete name and contact information
-
High school, college, team, or organization
-
Graduation year
-
Position
-
Height and weight
-
GPA and relevant academic information
-
Athletic statistics and performance metrics
-
Awards and accomplishments
-
Recruiting profiles
-
Social media links
-
Photos
-
Videos and video links
-
Other recruiting-related information submitted to CAM
Â
Coach Outreach does not guarantee that a coach will receive, open, read, review, respond to, evaluate, recruit, or make an offer to an athlete.
Â
12. Recruiting Resumes and Customer Deliverables
Â
Customers who receive recruiting resumes, reports, email templates, or other personalized deliverables may use and share those completed deliverables for their personal recruiting purposes.
Â
Customers may share completed CAM reports and recruiting materials with coaches, colleges, family members, trainers, advisors, and others.
Â
Customers may not resell CAM materials or reproduce, extract, copy, or commercially distribute CAM's underlying templates, designs, scoring methodology, proprietary systems, or other intellectual property.
Â
When CAM creates a recruiting resume or similar customized document, the customer may freely use the completed document, while CAM retains ownership of its underlying templates, layouts, designs, systems, and other proprietary materials.
Â
13. User-Submitted Content
Â
Athletes and customers retain ownership of photos, videos, information, and other content they submit to CAM.
Â
By submitting content, the customer grants CAM a limited, non-exclusive license to access, use, reproduce, format, and process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased services.
Â
The customer represents that they have the right and authority to provide submitted content to CAM and authorize its use for these purposes.
Â
14. Athlete Promotional Features
Â
CAM may offer opportunities for athletes to be featured on CAM's website, social media accounts, marketing materials, or other promotional channels.
Â
When separate permission or consent for promotional use has been provided by the athlete or, when required, their parent or legal guardian, CAM may use authorized athlete information and content such as:
Â
-
Name
-
Photo or likeness
-
Graduation year
-
Position
-
School or team
-
Athletic statistics and metrics
-
Awards or accomplishments
-
Recruiting information
-
Social media or recruiting profile information
Â
Purchasing a CAM service alone does not constitute unlimited consent for promotional use. Promotional use will be subject to the applicable authorization or consent provided to CAM.
Â
15. Testimonials and Reviews
Â
Customers may voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, feedback, or comments about CAM.
Â
By submitting written feedback for publication, the customer grants CAM permission to reproduce and display that feedback for legitimate business and promotional purposes.
Â
CAM will obtain appropriate permission before associating a testimonial with an athlete's photo, likeness, or other identifying promotional content when such permission is required.
Â
16. Orders and Payment
Â
CAM currently accepts payments through:
Â
-
Stripe, through CAM's Cognito Forms ordering process
-
Venmo, through payment requests sent by CAM's business Venmo account
Â
For Venmo transactions, CAM may send the customer a payment request after receiving the applicable order or submission information.
Â
An order is not considered ready for processing until CAM has received both:
Â
-
All required athlete/customer information; and
-
Full payment.
Â
Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment and order information.
Â
Third-party payment services are also governed by their respective terms, policies, and security practices.
Â
17. Taxes
Â
Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected where required.
Â
Customers are responsible for any taxes or charges associated with their purchase that are not otherwise collected during the transaction.
Â
18. Delivery
Â
CAM's standard delivery timeframe is 3–5 business days after both full payment and all required athlete information have been received.
Â
For purposes of these Terms, "business days" means Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays.
Â
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delays may occasionally occur due to unusually high order volume, technical problems, incomplete information, circumstances beyond CAM's reasonable control, or other exceptional situations.
Â
CAM will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays.
Â
19. Order Cancellations
Â
Customers may request cancellation of an order within 48 hours after the order is placed.
Â
Cancellation requests should be sent to info@collegeathletemap.com.
Â
After the 48-hour cancellation period has expired, cancellation or refund eligibility will be determined under CAM's Refund Policy.
Â
If CAM has already fully completed and delivered the purchased service within the cancellation period at the customer's request or with the customer's agreement, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Â
20. Refunds and Customer Satisfaction
Â
Because CAM provides personalized digital services, refund requests are handled in accordance with CAM's separate Refund Policy.
Â
If a customer is dissatisfied with the recommended colleges despite the report being prepared accurately based on the information provided, CAM may, at its discretion, make reasonable adjustments in an effort to address the customer's concerns.
Â
CAM does not guarantee that requested schools, divisions, geographic areas, or other desired outcomes will appear in a report unless expressly included in the purchased service.
Â
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Â
21. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Â
If a customer believes a billing error or service issue has occurred, we ask that the customer first contact CAM at info@collegeathletemap.com and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Â
Nothing in this section waives or restricts any chargeback, dispute, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
Â
Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in refusal of future service.
Â
22. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Â
CAM may offer promotional codes, discounts, early-access offers, referral discounts, or other promotions.
Â
Unless otherwise stated:
Â
-
Promotional offers have no cash value
-
Offers may not be combined
-
Eligibility requirements may apply
-
Offers may be modified, suspended, or discontinued
-
Expiration dates may apply
-
Discounts cannot be redeemed for cash
-
Misuse, duplication, fraud, or unauthorized distribution may result in cancellation of the discount or order
Â
CAM may establish additional terms for individual promotions.
Â
23. Affiliate and Other Programs
Â
Participation in CAM's affiliate, referral, ambassador, promotional, or other special programs may be governed by separate terms and conditions.
Â
Participation in such a program constitutes agreement to any additional terms applicable to that program.
Â
24. Intellectual Property
Â
College Athlete Map owns or licenses the intellectual property associated with its business and services, including, as applicable:
Â
-
College Athlete Map branding
-
CAM branding

-

-

-

-
Proprietary systems and methods
Â
Except for the limited customer usage rights expressly provided in these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to customers.
Â
Nothing in these Terms grants permission to copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, sell, license, or commercially exploit CAM's proprietary materials or methodology.
Â
25. Acceptable Use
Â
Users may not:
Â
-
Attempt to hack, damage, disable, or disrupt CAM's website or services
-
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to CAM systems
-
Use automated systems to scrape or systematically extract CAM content
-
Reverse engineer CAM's proprietary matching or scoring methods

Use CAM services for unlawful or abusive purposes
-
Infringe CAM's or another person's intellectual property rights
-
Attempt to resell or commercially exploit CAM services without authorization
-
Interfere with another person's use of CAM services
Â
CAM may restrict or refuse service when it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated.
Â
26. Third-Party Websites and Services
Â
CAM's website and reports may contain links to third-party websites and services, including college websites, athletic department websites, recruiting questionnaires, admissions applications, social media platforms, and other resources.
Â
CAM does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their:
Â
-
Content
-
Accuracy
-
Availability
-
Security

Privacy practices

Terms
-
Products or services
Â
Links are provided for convenience and informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.
Â
27. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service
Â
CAM reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, abuse, inaccurate information, misuse of CAM services, inability to provide the requested service, or violations of these Terms.
Â
If CAM cancels a paid order before providing the purchased service, CAM will refund the amount paid for the canceled service unless the cancellation results from fraud, a payment reversal, or another circumstance in which a refund would be inappropriate or unlawful.
Â
28. Website and Service Availability
Â
CAM may modify, update, temporarily suspend, or discontinue portions of its website or services.
Â
CAM does not guarantee that the website, forms, payment systems, reports, or other services will be available without interruption or error at all times.
Â
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain reliable access to our services.
Â
29. Disclaimer of Warranties
Â
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAM's website, reports, recommendations, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Â
CAM makes no warranty that its recommendations will produce any particular recruiting, academic, athletic, financial, or admissions result.
Â
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Â
30. Limitation of Liability
Â
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the use of CAM's website, reports, recommendations, or services.
Â
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAM's total liability arising from a particular purchased service will not exceed the amount actually paid to CAM for that service.
Â
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Â
31. Indemnification
Â
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless College Athlete Map and its owner, representatives, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your:
Â
-
Material violation of these Terms
-
Unlawful or unauthorized use of CAM services
-
Submission or use of content you do not have the right to provide
-
Fraudulent or intentionally misleading conduct
Â
This provision does not require you to indemnify CAM for CAM's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.
Â
32. Governing Law and Disputes
Â
These Terms and any dispute arising from CAM's services will be governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Â
Before filing a lawsuit, CAM and the customer are encouraged to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
Â
To the extent legally permitted, disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in West Virginia.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
Â
33. Changes to These Terms
CAM may update these Terms from time to time as our services, business practices, or legal obligations change.
Â
Updated Terms will display a revised effective or updated date.
Â
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed, changes to these Terms will apply prospectively. A purchase will generally remain governed by the version of the Terms accepted in connection with that transaction.
Â
34. Severability
Â
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.
Â
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Â
35. Entire Agreement
Â
These Terms, together with CAM's Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any additional terms expressly applicable to a particular service or program, constitute the agreement between the customer and CAM concerning the applicable services.

College Athlete Map Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 7, 2026

College Athlete Map ("College Athlete Map," "CAM," "we," "us," or "our") provides personalized digital college matching reports and recruiting services.

Because CAM products are customized using information and preferences provided by each customer, cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms below.

1. 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel an order within 48 hours from the time the order is placed and receive a full refund.

The 48-hour cancellation period is based on actual elapsed time and includes weekends and holidays.

For example, an order placed at 3:00 PM on Monday may generally be canceled until 3:00 PM on Wednesday.

To cancel an order, contact:

Please include sufficient information for CAM to identify your order.

2. Orders Completed Within 48 Hours

The right to cancel ends once CAM has fully completed and delivered the purchased personalized product or service, even if delivery occurs within 48 hours of the original order.

Once a completed personalized product has been delivered, any refund request will be evaluated under the remaining provisions of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Refund Requests After 48 Hours

After the 48-hour cancellation period has expired, refunds are not automatically guaranteed.

Refund requests will be reviewed by CAM on a case-by-case basis.

CAM may consider factors including:

-
Whether the purchased service was delivered
-
The nature of the customer's concern
-
Significant factual errors
-
Technical or delivery problems
-
Whether CAM has had an opportunity to correct the issue
-
Exceptional circumstances
-
Other relevant factors
Â
Nothing in this section prevents CAM from issuing a full or partial refund when CAM determines that doing so is appropriate.

4. If CAM Cannot Fulfill an Order

If CAM determines that it cannot provide the purchased service, the customer will receive a full refund for the service CAM is unable to provide.

CAM may also cancel an order and issue a full refund when CAM reasonably determines that accepting or continuing the order is not appropriate.

5. Delivery Timeframes

CAM's standard delivery timeframe is 3–5 business days after CAM has received both:

-
Full payment; and
-
All required athlete/customer information.
Â
For purposes of this policy, business days are Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays.

The 3–5 business-day timeframe is an estimate and is not an unconditional delivery guarantee.

A delay beyond the estimated delivery timeframe does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

If an unexpected delay occurs, CAM will make reasonable efforts to complete the service within a reasonable additional period and communicate significant delays when appropriate.

6. Errors Made by CAM

CAM makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate, useful, and current information.

If a report contains a significant factual error caused by CAM, our first remedy will generally be to correct or replace the affected portion of the report at no additional charge.

A significant CAM error does not automatically require a refund when the issue can reasonably be corrected.

CAM may issue a full or partial refund when it determines that correction is not an adequate remedy or that a refund is otherwise appropriate.

7. Minor Errors and Third-Party Information

Minor issues generally do not qualify for an automatic refund.

Examples may include:

-
Typographical errors
-
Formatting issues
-
Broken third-party links
-
Coach contact information that recently changed
-
Minor information changes occurring around the time of report preparation
-
Other issues that do not materially affect the overall service
Â
CAM will make reasonable efforts to correct appropriate errors brought to our attention.

8. Incorrect Information Submitted by the Customer

CAM recommendations depend on the information customers provide.
